Beware.... Lots of camping pictures!

This is a little shooting range Adam and the boys set up. They had so much fun shooting the bb gun and the .22.
Abell's idea of a better way to grab a bottle of water.

Yea! He is happy!

Twinners! Love that!

The view of our camping spot.
We didn't see one other person except when we went to the lake.

Addison's hiking stick!

Abell brought the bb gun and binoc's on our hike.

Group picture of the kids while on our hike!

Baby girl loves her smores!

Addison loves smores too. Here he is sitting in his Uncle Nick pose!

Oh good. This kid is happy too!

Chillaxin by the fire. So much fun!

Breeley had a ton of fun fishing. She was bugged she didn't have her own fishing pole. The boys were also a little bugged she didn't have her own.
What a great day for fishing!

Addison loves fishing too!

See? He is super happy!

The boys while fishing. Look how close they are standing next to eachother, and not one punch was thrown!

We all played dominoes too! Its a Larsen Favorite!

Happy kids = Happy Mom!!!

Shooting range row!

Addison.

Adam.

Hagen.

Battleship! Yea baby!
Look at those boys playing a game together. Who woulda ever thunk?

They took turns chopping wood. Abell made sure to teach Addison the safe way of doing things.

They even let Bree in on some football!

I love this kid too much!
See her playing? And no one is telling her to get lost!
Since Adam was out of town around Easter and Memorial Day we didn't get to take our usual camping trips. So I decided to surprise Adam with a camping trip for Father's Day.
One of the first times we went camping after buying our trailer was to a campground with hook ups. Well, the hook ups hooked us. It was so nice to use the air conditioning. To use the water freely and even have some grass and a picnic table.
Well, we just were hooked.
That is the only way we have camped since buying our trailer about 5 years ago. I love it! But this time we (I) decided to go "dry" camping and go up to Strawberry Reservoir. We have a generator now so we can turn that on and use the A/C, microwave, and even the tv.
(I know... I know.... camping with tv! Geesh)
It was so much fun! It was great to be all by ourselves. The kids could have a little shooting range and go shoot the bb guns whenever they wanted. We could just let them roam and find things. It was really a super great time!
One funny part of the story for this trip is that Adam did most of the prepacking. I had a lot going on so he took the reins. I had Breeley all packed and everything sitting on her bed. The boys packed themselves. Adam had told the kids to get their stuff and put it in the trailer. Well you know since Breeley is FOUR, do you think she did it? We got all the way up there and I asked Adam where her pink bag was and he said "I told the kids to put their stuff in the trailer."
I said, "She is four, do you think she did that?"
No, she didn't do it.
We got all the way up there and Breeley had nothing except her Nike's that I had thrown in with my stuff.
So a decision had to be made.
Drive an hour and a half (each way) back home and spend about 100.00 in gas going back and fourth (Darn Excursion!) Or drive 30 minutes to Park City and buy her some clothes.
It was a VERY TOUGH DECISION!
Park City here we come!
We had to buy her capri's, pants, shirts, jacket, socks and even underwear!
The saleslady at GapKids was happy to see me!
It ended up costing about 130.00 total for gas and clothes, but at least we got something for the money instead of just spending it all on gas.
Good Choice.
We decided that as soon as we all are in the truck ready to leave on our next trip, we will do a count off and make sure everyones bags are PACKED AND LOADED!

The custest reason why I haven't blogged...

Introducing LulaKate!
Sleepy Lula!

She climbed on the pile of dirty clothes and took a nap!

She doesn't mind Breeley pushing her around in her shopping cart.

She isn't too fond of her new (still too big for her) harness for walking.
She kept walking backwards in it trying to chew on the bottom part.

Breeley is in love with her!

She napped with Hagen while he watched a soccer game!
After two and a half years of wanting a Shih tzu. We finally got one. I kept thinking that if I could just keep putting it off the darn desire to get one would go away. The problem is it never did.
I had a list of things I wanted if I was going to get one.
1. Brown
2. Girl
3. From a good home. (Not a puppy mill)
4. I wanted to see both mom and dad and know that was really the mom and dad.
5. Not pay too much moola.
A simple list that I put together. Not too demanding, but also pretty hard to get it all, when you aren't even looking for a puppy.
But the opportunity came and we decided to take a look and meet the puppy.
Obviously, that is all it took.
She was too perfect.
WE HAD TO HAVE HER!
We had to wait AN ENTIRE WEEK TO GET HER!
But we did finally get her.
And after three weeks, we still are all madly in love with her.
She is doing so good.
She is so patient with us.
We are so patient with her.
We love her so much!
So much!

Belle Breeley

Breeley was invited to a princess birthday party and Belle was going to be there.

We thought it would be fun if she arrived in a carriage. Unfortunately, I was the horse.
We did her hair in curls, and put some glitter on her cheeks.

She felt so beautiful!
She even wore her Belle princess heels!

She really wanted to be Belle since that was the princess that was coming to the party. Breeley doesn't have a Belle dress, so she asked her cute cousin Skyler if she could borrow her dress! (Thanks Sky!!!)

Breeley had a fabulous time at the party. She was so excited to tell us all about Belle. It was so fun to see her be so excited about the princess. I love it way too much.

South Carolina!

Adam has been spending a lot of time in South Carolina for work. While he was there, I flew out there for a long weekend to spend time with Adam and see the sights. I flew into Columbia (where he has been working) on a Thursday evening and we drove straight to Charleston. We stayed the first night there and spent friday seeing the sights. Charleston is absolutely amazing. We are in love with every inch of it. We took a ton of photo's and now that I am home, I wish I had four times more. I wish I would have taken a photo of every single inch of it!

I love the ivy growing on the stairs on this home. Amazing!
I love brick. There was so much old brick on the houses. The colors and patterns are beautiful.

Look at that ivy!

This is the door for the above garage. It led you into their courtyard.

This is a window sill in one of the alleys. I only took one picture of it. What was I thinking??

We love the ocean. This is right in front of Battery Park.

Right in front of our hotel was a marina. We walked down there and they had these rocking chairs for you to sit on. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The best part about it was Adam and I were together.

This is a house that is now a bed and breakfast. I would have loved to stay here.

Can you believe these flowers? They are so intricate and amazing.

Can you see the ivy growing on the bottom part of this house? It is perfect.

This is the staircase of the above house. I am in love.

The rocking chairs. We could have spent the entire day just relaxing on those chairs.
Our trip was so much fun. We spent the first night in Charleston South Carolina. The second night in North Carolina, the third night in Virginia and the last night in Columbia South Carolina. We drove up to Virginia to see Kenny, Jenny and the boys. It was so fun to spend time with them.
Have I mentioned I love South Carolina.
Every part of me wants to move there.
I mean every... single... part... of... me...! Sigh...
Come back for pictures of North Carolina and Virginia and a funny story about a quarter...
