New Hair Style!

Breeley wanted to do my hair today! She was excited because I let her use the spray bottle (Normally that is a no-no since I straight iron my hair), and she loved it. She just kept spraying and spraying and spraying. The water dripped halfway down my back before I could talk her into stopping. Then she collected as many barretts her little hands could hold and spent 30 minutes putting them in my hair. She is so happy with how it turned out. She thinks it looks beautiful.
I was planning on going grocery shopping this morning/afternoon.... I don't know how to tell her I have to take it out... maybe we will just have leftovers for lunch and I can go shopping tomorrow. We shall see!

First Pick!

This is a quick pic of the first basket of veggies from the garden.
I accidently planted the yellow squash. I thought I had bought zuchinni. Big surprise when it grew! (Anyone want some squash??? I would love to share!) This is the first time I have remembered to buy the baby tomatoes, and boy are we loving them!
AND this is the first time my cucumbers have actually grown! I buy them every year and never can get them to grow. I guess the trick is to buy them just to make your kids happy, then totally ignore them until they grow. By the looks of it, we will be eating tons and tons of cucumbers this summer. I can't believe how many are growing.
Summer has been hot, lazy, messy, and fun!

Wanna know what's funny?

I am a blog addict.
I love to look up different blogs and read/see what people are up to or thinking.
I get frusterated when they haven't updated their blogs.
Then I look at my blog and think... Geesh... I really should update my blog, I have loads of fun pictures to post. Maybe tonight before I go to bed. Then... I don't do it. The next day... same thing.
So I am posting this so I WILL update it tonight. Before I go to bed! But for now, I am off to see Harry Potter!

***PS*** If a Miss Hacker is by chance reading this silly post... will you please invite me to your private blog??? I would love to add yours to my list. deannalarsen7@msn.com (and then let me know the name of your blog???) Thanks so much! Your the best!

Today!

Addison and Breeley have enjoyed playing in the pool today. I was pulling weeds and overheard Addison telling his friend Jake "Try to make the arm fart noise under water."
It was so funny but so sad for me to hear.

Breeley has been having fun too!

I snuck these photo's through my very dirty window! Breeley and Andrew were having fun eating Sonic slushes and relaxing in the shade!

This is what Breeley has looked like most nights by dinner time. A total rag a muffin! She has played at all the parks, with all the drinking fountains and always makes fun friends! She has been a great sport at always supporting her brothers at all their games. Good thing they came to her dance recitals those two nights in a row!

Abell's been playing baseball too!

Good thing Tide works so good!
On second base, trying to get to third (he made it all the way home!)

Abell and his best friend Eric actually were drafted to the same team! They were so excited!

He just looks so good in that uniform!
Abell LOOOVVEEEESSS baseball. He is so good at it too. He loves getting his uniform on and making sure he looks just right. (Between Abell playing baseball twice a week and Hagen playing soccer and baseball twice a week each, it has been a nightmare keeping enough black socks clean) Abell's coaches have held extra practices on Monday early evenings to help the boys out and of course Abell and Eric have enjoyed them. They have been carrying their mits around everywhere they go. He saved up some money and bought himself a wooden bat that he loves. I am so happy that he enjoys baseball so much. I wish he could play it year round!

Hagen's been playing baseball

Hagen has been playing baseball too. He has had to miss some practices and games due to his soccer schedule, and he has done some back to back soccer/baseball games but he has had fun. He enjoys playing first base, and is very good at it. He is a great hitter too. Hagen has a great ability to be focused on what he is doing right now at this second, and that really helps him do a good job and be a great team player on his sports teams. GO BRAVES!
