Abell's Birthday

In Adam's family there are a lot of June Birthdays, so we decided to have one night that we all get together and celebrate for everyone. The party was soppose to be a swim party and a bbq, but with all the rain it ended up an inside pizza party. No problem, it was still fun.
Abell is turning 12, Skyler is turning 8, Kenyon is turning 5 and Halle is turning 3! All big birthdays! It really was a lot of fun!
More Birthday to come...

Addison's field trip to the Botanical Garden

Addison sporting his newly made sead bracelet!
Addison and Gracie disecting a flower to see all the many parts! He thought it was fun and even tasted the pollen. Told him not to do that again... But he learned a lot and was glad that his mom was able to go. Even though I thought ahead and tried to charge the camera battery, I realized I used the wrong charger so it didn't charge. So these are the only two pictures of the day. Oh well.
I always try and pack a special lunch for the boys on field trip days. He was excited to have pudding, a fruit by the foot AND a yummy lunchable!

Addison has been playing T Ball!

Addison and Jake. His friend Adam missed the game this week.

Addison has been having a ton of fun playing T ball! He is on the same team as his good friends Adam and Jake. He loves hanging out with those boys! He doesn't like to hit the ball off the tee. He prefers to have the coach pitch to him. He is really having fun with it this year! Plus he gets to wear the batting gloves that he bought LAST YEAR so that makes it super fun! I am just happy we could find the darn gloves this year.

What have we been up to?

I have been a major blogger slacker, so I am going to try and play catch up. Hopefully I will get a post or two a day, so everyone can see why I am such a slacker. We have been ever so busy with baseball, school, field trips, soccer, working in the yard, cleaning bedrooms, BBQing on Adam's new grill, and hiding from the rain. We have had night that we have been STARTING dinner at 8:30 pm, and waking up just in time to make it to school on time. More than once my boys have eaten a poptart while riding their bikes to school. (Sorry Mr. Martinez, but yes... it was during testing!) But we wouldn't change a thing. It has been fun!

Who would've thought!

All I needed to do was POST a picture of a dog on my blog, then not post anything new for say 10 days and that would cure me of wanting a dog so badly. I am so tired of seeing that picture that I could throw up! Not to mention the nice people who gave me the comments to help persuade me from making a big mistake!

We have been SO BUSY with school (year round), field trips, baseball, baseball, baseball, soccer, Adam traveling/golfing for work, cleaning out the house, working on the yard, just working, then trying to catch up on sleep, and water wars that I haven't had a chance to blog. (Did I mention we have been busy with baseball? I don't think I stressed that one enough.)
I hope every one of you are having a fun summer even with the rain! I love the rain!

Why Oh Why???

Why oh why do I want a dog??? I have been wanting a brown shitzu since November of 2007. I keep thinking if I wait a little longer I will quit wanting one so bad. But as a matter of fact, I just keep wanting one more. I think it is because I haven't gone this long without getting prego, or having a baby since we started this thing called a family. I have thought about having a baby to get away from wanting a dog, but then I "baby barf" (throw up in my mouth a little bit) and know that is not the solution to my problem.
Luckily we have had vacations planned so that has helped me. Example... I can't get one until after Mexico, we can't leave it alone for 10 days. Not until after Disneyland... Yadda...yadda...yadda...

I keep looking at them on ksl.com. Almost daily. I want a brown one, and they seem to not be as available as the others. So that has helped. But when they do have one, man do I want to buy one.

I want a dog that jumps in the car with me to pick up kids from carpool. I want one that goes camping with us and sleeps in the trailer with us. I just want one. Darn it!

***Hagen informed us on the new term "baby barf". I'm just trying to keep up.***

Breeley's Dance Recital

Doesn't she look darling!
Even from the back!

Jen Jen, Jake, Kena, and Raegan gave her these beautiful flowers and treats. She was so excited. For some reason I didn't take pictures of the flowers Adam gave her.

Bree and her best little friend Maddie. They both looked so darling! They really had a lot of fun!

Breeley has been in a dance class all year at Dance Image in Hooper. She has had a lot of fun, and learned some cute dances. She was super excited for her dance recital. I think mostly because we bought her some makeup and she was able to actually wear it! But she did a fabulous job dancing. We were so proud of her. She was so excited to see all the people that came to watch! Grammy, Grandma Kathy, Aunt Katie, Skyler, Halle, Jen Jen, Jake, Kena, Reagan, Ali, Keni, just to name a few!
On the last night after her second dance she started to complain that her tummy was hurting bad. We ended up having to leave the recital early because she was crying and complaining so much. It was hurting her so bad that she couldn't hold still. After Adam gave her a blessing she was finally able to fall asleep. She slept soundly through the night and woke up feeling great. Man what a blessing, those blessings are!
