Addison's Birthday!

His new bike!!! It has his favorite color of Sky Blue on it!

Grandma Larsen invited Addison to go shopping with her so he could pick out his gift. He told her he didn't want to go. He wanted to be surprised! So she made him a money tree! He was surprised and still gets to pick out his present!

He loves loves loves Grandma and Grandpa Nick!

He likes this game. We have played it a few times. It does take a long time though!

Some of his Star Wars toys.

February 12th was Addison's SEVENTH birthday. He was so excited. I can't believe he is getting so old. We had a fun day on his birthday. I let Addison pick what we would have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast he picked mickey mouse pancakes with chocolate chip faces. Lunch he wanted pizza and since we are off track from school, I took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. Addison had a lot of fun. For dinner he picked irish italian speghetti. It was really fun to let him pick everything for the day. he thought it was the coolest.

When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday he only asked for Anakin and Count Douko Star Wars action figures. 9 trips to various Walmarts and 4 times to various Targets, 1 trip to Toys R Us (I hate Toys R Us!) and I couldn't find the toys. Dang you collectors out there that go EVERY MORNING to see what has been stocked! If it weren't for you, my life would have been so much easier, and my son would have been so happy! I ended up buying him some other Star Wars ship things and he got a new bike! plus lots and lots of cash! What a lucky boy!
A few of the things I love about Addison...
1. He is SO SMART!! He taught himself to read when he was only four years old.
2. He is SO FUNNY! He has the ability to memorize quotes from movies and knows exactly when to say them. It is hilarious to be around him.
3. He is SO NICE! He is such a good brother and friend.
4. He has a strong testimony. He listens in primary and remembers the things he is taught.
5. He loves to wear flip flops! So funny!
6. He has the brightest and biggest eyes with the best eyelashes! Watch out girls!
7. He is so fun to watch him play Wii. He is so good at it and can figure games out so fast.
8. He says the funniest prayers. He has even been thankful for our thumbs so we can grab things.
9. He is so patient.
10. He is always happy.

How we spent today!

We are off track this month! Abell wants to open a "Club" when we get our family room finished. He spent the morning getting it all planned out. It is going to be great! Girls get in free the first friday night of the month and the boys only have to pay 5 bucks. That will cover the cost of the treats, snacks, and drinks!
Hagen organized his nine million basketball cards. He is obsessed with them. He will do anything to earn money to go buy more, more, more! His binder is so full and he has it organized so well!

Addison just spent the morning shooting everyone with his Star Wars nerf gun. Then he played with his giant collection of Star Wars toys!

Breeley listened to her iPod. I downloaded the Mamma Mia soundtrack (thanks Jen) and she stood on the chairs and sang her little heart out! It was funny to listen to her.
I spent the entire day cleaning. I do believe that I might have the cleanest kitchen in Clinton (for the moment). I cleaned the fridge inside outside behind and under. Then I attacked the microwave and the oven. I pulled out the oven and cleaned it on all sides then I turned on the self cleaning part and let it do it's thing. Then I moved onto the sink, cupboard doors, cupboard shelves, reorganized a few of them then swept mopped and even did the laundry and got it all folded and put away. I have no idea what has gotten into me. Not a drop of pepsi, and NO I am not pregnant and "nesting"!!! I must just be very excited for spring!

I Love To See The Temple...

On Wednesday night we took the kids to see the Draper Temple. It was so neat to be able to be in the temple with my kids. They loved looking around and did a great job of being quiet. It made Abell excited to turn twelve (this year) when he saw the baptismal font. He is excited to go and do baptisms for the dead. When we were in the sealing room, we stayed until everyone else had left and looked in the mirrors. You could feel the spirit so strong.

Breeley is very obsessed about temples and she was excited to go into one. When we were in the sealing room, she walked over to me and whispered in my ear "this is where I will be sealed to my honey!" and then she walked over to Adam and whispered the same thing. Then when we were in the celestial room, I picked her up to talk to her about it and told here she could come here with her honey, and her eyes lit up and she asked "Can we dance in here?" It was so cute and so sweet. For the past two or three months she has been asking if we can go to the temple on her birthday and of course we have told her yes. I hope she stays as excited for the temple for the next 20 years.

As we were in the celestial room, Adam told the boys that their future wives are dreaming of being married in the temple and they better make sure they can bring them to the temple. It was such a sweet thing for him to tell them.

I am so greatful that Adam and I were sealed in the temple, and I pray it is something that my children will also have.

So Lucky!

Having a little sister to do all the running to gather snow hats, rocks, and carrots is so nice.

Having a big brother run at top speed to help you walk down a couple steps covered with snow is even better!

Are you done now??? Ready to come in and warm up???

No... now we are going to build a tiny baby snowman. Can we have a tiny carrot??

A game and a hotdog!

Did you know Hagen LOVES the Jazz!
The Jazz Bear came up right next to Addison! Breeley got so scared.

Our view! Gotta love Jr Jazz tickets!

We think Addison had fun watching the game. He just stayed in his seat and was quiet the whole night. It was kinda odd, but he is growing up.

On the way to the game. We brought a few extra kids from the hood. Eric and Rhett. They made the game even more fun for the boys.
All three boys played Jr Jazz this year. So that means that since the first week of December we have had four nights a week of basketball practices and games. It was busy but the boys really had fun. We are pretty much done now and I can't tell you how excited I am.
All three boys received two tickets to the Jr Jazz game night so our whole family was able to go. We even received a "snack" with our tickets! A hotdog and an orange drink! Yippee!!! (So glad it's all over)

25 Random Things

I just filled out 25 Random Things for my Facebook and thought it would be fun to post on my blog.
