31 Days of Us. World Market

Being an Interior Design student has a few perks. :)
We have awesome professors that were able to get us students into the Semi-Annual World Market. It takes place in Las Vegas. World Market is where all the companies that sell anything related to interiors get together and display their new merchandise. It gives interior designers a chance to see what is new and also to shop for things they need for clients. You have to have special passes to get in the doors. They even scan your pass as you enter each "Store". We were the only students in there. It was really fun to walk around and see all the many different companies merchandise.
After a while, I got brave enough to take a few pics of the things I liked with my phone. I was really nervous to do it. Some of the companies didn't have a problem having students there. Some were pretty rude and didn't want to give us any of their attention. Which is no problem. We will be shopping there as designers soon enough and will remember who was good to students and who wasn't. I wonder where we will likely shop??  :)

I really don't like being in Vegas. I actually hate being there. But the time I spent at World Market was pretty fun and made me excited to graduate!

31 Days of Us. It's late. I'm tired.

The title explains my night. But I really don't want to miss a day blogging. So I will post these bad pics from my phone taken during conference this weekend. It was near the end of the last session and Breeley came up with a new way to entertain herself.

31 Days of Us. The boys can fly!

Man, this posting daily stuff is tough! I really don't have the energy to go back and dig through files of pictures to get caught up, Although, that really is what I should do. There are so many fun times not documented that I will surely forget with the mind that I have. 

Today though, I thought I would post some pics from my phone from Lagoon yesterday. We ran up there for a couple hours. We had told the boys they could do the Sky Coaster during the summer. But there never was a good time to stand in the forever long line. We decided to get it checked off the list!

I did video the boys' flight. Sad thing though, Addison took a few seconds longer than expected to pull the cord and I started getting nervous. So when he did pull the cord, I pushed stop on the video. Dumb dumb me!!! I did get it turned back on and got some video but I missed the descent. Darn it!

31 Days of Us. Yum! Yum!

Tonight while Adam, Abell and Hagen were at the priesthood session of General Conference, Addison, Breeley and I made a couple loafs of zucchini bread. Addison and Breeley shreaded the zucchini and I mixed it all up. Addison grew the zucchini in his garden. :) I wonder who will wash all the loaf pans???

31 Days of Us. Big Boy

I follow this blog written by a cute girl named Serena. She owns The Farm Chicks. It is an antique show held annually in Spokane Washington. A few weeks ago on her blog she had a post called Big Boy Wants to Meet You. With the following picture.

It turn out this Big Boy wants to travel the world especially every state in the USA! Anyone who wanted to host Big Boy just needed to comment on the post and tell her which state we could introduce him to. She was going to pick the first comment from each state. I thought it would be something to do, so I quick like a rabbit commented. :)  I wasn't sure if I was first or not, but I tried.
I didn't hear anything about it and two days ago I was reading her blog and Big Boy was reporting on his trip to Florida.  She had a link listed with his travel plans and who would be hosting him. I clicked over and low and behold this is what I saw.

So help me think of somewhere fun to take him. :)

I have a few weeks to decide. He is in #3 Idaho today. So he has a few stops to make before he arrives.

31 Days of US. Abell and Hagen and Merit Badges!

This summer Abell and Hagen earned and received several merit badges. Some of them they had been waiting for for a while, but I think they are pretty much caught up. We tend to have a hot/cold relationship with merit badges. Sometimes we are really hot on it and are earning them quickly. Then one of those waiting until you can receive your next advancements will come up and we become very cold with it. Abell is a Life, and Hagen is a Star, with his Life earned just waiting for time to pass so he can receive it. I am wanting the boys to do their Eagle projects at the same time so we can have them both have their Eagle Court of Honor at the same time. :) I am all about being efficient.

31 Days of Us. Homecoming Splat

This week is Clearfield High's homecoming. In celebration, the school held a paint party called Splat! When Adam and I went to Clearfield we had Mud Olympics. I think paint is much better than mud! Lucky kids! Abell attended the Splat party and had a lot of fun!

31 Days of Us. Breeley Jane

Breeley Jane loves to have her nails painted. She not only loves to have her nails painted, but she loves to have each finger a different color.

She picks out her colors and then lines them up in finger order.

Can you see the monkey cup? That thing has been around since the beginning of time. I bet its been through the dishwasher at least 2,000 times.

I highly dislike that monkey cup! :)

She was listening to her favorite songs on her iPod this time. It's so fun to listen to her sing with the songs.

31 Days of Us. Starting NOW!

Abell is a sophmore at Clearfield High School this year. He is loving high school! He loves being a falcon! He love A day B day! He is doing really great! He is having fun hanging out with new friends and going to football games. He was able to get his drivers learning permit during the summer so he is having fun pestering us for driving time. I am so proud of him.

Hagen is in 8th grade this year. He is an 8th grade officer. He loves it and is having so much fun going to the games. West Point Junior High has added honor classes for the 8th graders. He is in all honor classes except for gym and his student government class. His classes are a lot of work. and it was kinda tough at first getting used to doing so much homework after the long summer break. But he has got it under control now and he is doing great. I am proud of his determination and work ethic. When he sets his mind on something he has this amazing ability to concentrate and get it done.

Addison is in 5th grade this year.  He has Mrs. Brown and loves her! He thinks she is so awesome. He says "She is the nicest strict teacher." He is doing so well. He is always in such a good mood when he comes home from school. He was ready for summer to be over and have somewhere to go everyday.

Breeley is in 2nd grade. I can't believe it! My baby is getting so old. She is so happy to have the "old gang" back at recess. She is doing really well in school. She has lots of friends and isn't home much after school. She gets invited to play at friends houses almost every day. She is in dance and tumbling so that takes a lot of her after school time, so when she is available to play, she loves it. She is doing really well in dance and just got her whip at tumbling. It's really fun to watch her.

I am in my second year at Weber State in the Interior Design program. I am technically a senior at Weber now, so I was able to buy an A2 parking permit! That was a happy day even though it cost me an arm and a leg. :) I am taking classes in Space Planning, Lighting, Rendering and Codes. It's a pretty full class load but I am enjoying what I am learning so that makes it not so bad. 
We are very busy with 5 people in 5 different schools. But so far, we have remembered everyone's picture days on the right days, so that makes me pretty darn happy.
