Halloween... Kinda

Okay... So this is a picture of the kids before Halloween. We were going to a Halloween party hosted by the fabulous Katie Simonson. The kids always have a riot playing with all the cousins. I did take lots of pics, but the kids were running around so much that they are too blurry. Man I need a new GOOD camera. Anyway...

Abell is a hunter, Hagen and Addison are Jedi's and Breeley is a cupcake!
Night of Trick or Treating. Abell and Eric dressed up as some camo nurf gun somethings...

Breeley the cupcake!

Raegan the MoNSter!

Hannah Montana AKA Kenna!
That's it folks. No Halloween pics of Hagen and Addison.
See Hagen has a plan to go trick or treating with some friends.
When said group of friends arrived.
Hagen left.
No "See-ya later mom."
No "hey mom my friends are here, can I leave?"
No "Hey mom, my friends are here, do you want to take a picture of us?"
Nothing.
And then...
Addison left.
He literally grabbed his costume and took off out the door. I am assuming he put half of it on as he was running after Hagen and said friends. I only can assume that because when I finally found them... cough cough... I saw them trick or treating across the street 20 minutes later. Addison had his costume on.. sort of... meaning half of it was in his hands and half was on his body. I ran and fixed him up and made sure Hagen understood he was in charge of keeping track of Addison. Yes, I must admit. It is nice to have one child that you can depend on to be responsible while having fun.
Breeley had an amazing time trick or treating with Adam. She had to come home and empty her bag three times because it had gotten so full. Each time she emptied it onto her bed, placed a pillow over the pile and told me to make sure "THE BOYS" stayed OUT of her room.
I enjoyed staying home, keeping dinner warm, and sitting on the front porch handing out candy. I read my book in between groups of trick or treaters. I thoroughly was enjoying myself. A couple from the ward saw me reading and came over to say hello. I think they were feeling bad for me that I was sitting there reading. But, I was actually very content to be doing what I was doing.
I gave them each a piece of candy and sent them on their way.
My observation of Halloween this year is.... You sure can't tell we are in a recession. My kids bags were loaded down with sweet treats. It was the best year ever in their opinion.
